Our ISS Health Team is growing, and we are currently seeking people to join us in the position of Cleaner and Food Services Assistant, at a number of Hospitals sites we current deliver services to. We are offering Casual or Perm Part Time shifts.
Responsibilities
Cleaning positions:
* Cleaners provide services to all departments, wards and public areas
* Safe handling of chemical and/or hazardous substances in the performance of cleaning duties
* Identifying and recording any problems relating to cleaning services and/or safety
* Decontamination of surfaces after the initial clinical waste spillage has been removed by clinical staff
Food Service Assistant:
* Preparation and presentation of patient meals such as salads, sandwiches and drinks
* Cleaning and sanitizing of patient meal trays, cutlery, crockery and trolleys
* Preparation of workstations including assembly of items and stocking of consumables
* This role works in various shifts across seven days - morning and afternoon shift
* Maintain a high standard of food services in accordance with Food Safety Legislation and Food Services Procedures
Cafe Attendant:
* Opening and closing of the Café.
* Preparation of food and beverages to customer expectations.
* Ensure all food and beverages are prepared and served according to standard recipes.
* Ensure all areas are fully stocked during services periods, including food items, drink dispensers, crockery, cutlery and consumables.
* Maintain stock levels including stock takes;
* Ensure all cash handling is accurate and is in line with the cash handling process;
* Barista duties – Prepare and serve espresso-based coffees as well as teas and other beverages.
* The Café runs 24/7 (including public holidays), with Café Attendants needing to be available any 5 days in the week, with flexibility to work across any of the shifts (7am to 3pm, 3pm to 11pm and 11pm to 7am)

Minimum Criteria
* Evidence of immunisation for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Influenza, Tetanus, Pertussis, Diphtheria, Hep B, Polio
* Flexibility to work a rotational roster; including early mornings, night shifts, weekends and public holidays.
* Current Police Clearance no older than 3 months is essential
* Current DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC) is essential
* Demonstrate a positive attitude and drive to deliver strong customer service
