We're looking for one dynamic clinician to take on two complementary 0.5 FTE roles, delivering a valuable contribution across early childhood and perinatal mental health in Far North Queensland. Join our supportive Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs (MHAODS) team based in Cairns, with outreach to diverse and remote communities throughout the Torres Strait and Cape York region. The combined role includes: 0.5 FTE - Together in Mind (TIM) Coordinator Together in Mind is a free 6 week program to support the mental health of mums across Queensland. It is designed as an adjunct to community mental health treatment and may also function as a step up/step down support for women recently discharged from inpatient mental health care. Please see Together in Mind. 0.5 FTE - Perinatal and Infant Mental Health (PIMH) Clinician The role of the Senior Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Clinical Nurse Consultant will be to deliver high level evidence-based clinical mental health services as a member of the perinatal & infant mental health multi-disciplinary team to optimise care to people who are pregnant and/or primary care givers or infants who are at risk of severe and complex mental health problems and disorders, and their families and carers.
