About the role
Join the team at TGT Pty Ltd as a full-time Retail Sales Assistant/Showroom Consultant. Based in our flagship hardware store in Mareeba, QLD, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and product knowledge to help our customers find the perfect solutions for their needs.
What you'll be doing
* Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner to understand their requirements
* Demonstrate product features and capabilities to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions
* Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
* Maintain a well-organised and visually appealing showroom
* Participate in inventory management and stock replenishment activities
* Contribute to a positive team environment and support your colleagues as needed
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing role, ideally within the home and lifestyle or bathroom fittings industry
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse range of customers
* Strong product knowledge and the ability to learn about new products quickly
* Attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality customer service
* Flexibility to work during standard retail hours, including weekends
* A positive, team-oriented attitude and the willingness to learn and grow within the role
