Disability Support Worker - Complex Supports
Join Qualita Care & Support as a Disability Support Worker. There are two roles, one at Shoalwater, Rockingham providing high physical support, and the other at Cooloongup, providing complex behaviour support. In these casual roles, you'll provide essential support and assistance to individuals with disabilities, helping them to live independently and participate fully in their community. We're seeking compassionate, reliable, and motivated Disability Support Workers to join our growing team. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts is necessary, including morning, afternoon, and overnight shifts. Availability for weekend shifts is a must.
Responsibilities
* Provide personalised, high-quality support in daily living, personal care, community access, including high-intensity care.
* Support participants to achieve their NDIS goals and enhance their independence.
* Build meaningful relationships based on trust, respect, and empathy.

Qualifications
* Relevant qualification or previous experience providing support to individuals with disabilities, preferably in a community-based or in-home setting (highly regarded)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
* Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
* First Aid & CPR Certificate
* Medication Certificate
* National Police Clearance
* Valid Australian Driver's Licence (international licenses are not suitable)
