Senior Legal Officer Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Officer to join our team in Ipswich.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing prosecution cases on complex matters, including appeals, with professionalism and timeliness.

Your Key Responsibilities
* Preparing prosecution cases on complex matters, including appeals, with professionalism and timeliness.
* Collaborating and managing relationships with stakeholders such as defence counsel, solicitors, police, victims, and witnesses to maintain clear, respectful communication.
* Advocating in court for appeals, sentences, committal hearings, and bail applications across the Magistrates, District, or higher courts.
* Engaging with complainants and relatives, particularly in cases involving sexual or violent offences, with sensitivity and compassion.
* Leading and mentoring legal officers and support staff, inspiring high standards and professional growth.
* Identifying opportunities to improve work practices and streamline processes.
