Overview
This is a unique and exciting role based in our Angaston office, where you will take the lead in driving the success of our special publications and feature titles. The role involves selling advertising space, planning and coordinating campaigns, and developing new concepts to ensure our publications remain fresh, relevant, and engaging for both readers and advertisers.
Working closely with the Advertising Sales Manager, you will also help to manage and grow our existing portfolio of publications, while working with businesses across the Barossa Valley and beyond to deliver effective advertising solutions across The Leader in print and online, as well as within our award-winning publications, including The Barossa Mag.
We are seeking a creative, motivated and commercially minded professional with a proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service and build strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Sell advertising space, plan and coordinate campaigns, and develop new concepts to keep publications engaging for readers and advertisers.
- Assist in managing and growing the portfolio of publications in collaboration with the Advertising Sales Manager.
- Deliver effective advertising solutions across The Leader in print and online, and within award-winning publications including The Barossa Mag.
- Collaborate with businesses across the Barossa Valley and beyond.
Qualifications
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate strong planning, organisation, and attention to detail.
- Be computer literate with excellent written skills.
- Have the drive to generate advertising sales and deliver innovative concepts.
- Knowledge of digital advertising will be considered a strong advantage.
- Previous media sales experience is not essential, however it will be highly regarded.
