We are in the market for a Recreation Centres Facility Attendant, you are passionate about your profession and enjoy the rewards of a good challenge. At CoM we strive to embrace change as our norm and therefore require a person who is innovative, agile, proactive and enthusiastic.
As the Recreation Centres Facility Attendant, you will assist in the smooth operation of the Recreation Centres in a safe, clean, well presented and hygienic manner. Additionally you would undertake various duties such as setting up & packing up of Recreation & Events Equipment. The role would be undertaken duties to assist Technical Operations Officer. This role is based at the City of Mandurah Aquatic & Recreation Centre and Halls Head Recreation Centre.

- You will assist in the smooth operation of the Recreation Centres in a safe, clean, well presented and hygienic manner
- Setting up & packing up of Recreation & Events Equipment.
- You are friendly, supportive and actively listen to the needs of others.
- You enjoy working with people and are open to the opinions of others.
- You have a welcoming and respectful customer service disposition when dealing with both your internal and external customers, our community.
- Ability to "think outside the box" and have very good problem-solving skills
**What will you bring to the team?**
- Current unrestricted C-A (Auto) or C-B (Manual) National Drivers Licence.
- Experience with recreation electronic software (including Point of Sale) (Desirable)
- National Police Clearance (within 6 months of date of issue)
- Previous experience to supporting event activities would be advantageous.
- Previous experience in working with the community and children would be advantageous.
- As part of our recruitment process, you will be required to participate in a full pre-employment medical that includes drug and alcohol testing
**The finer details**
This casual (approximately 10 hours per week) Level 2 position attracts an hourly rate of $36.67 including casual loading (20%). We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workforce.
