Superannuation & Salary Sacrifice Benefits SA Pharmacy - CALHN Full Time, Contracted Role up to 8 Aug 2027 About the role This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated pharmacist to rotate and gain experience across multiple CALHN mental health locations to complete a 2-year Mental Health Advanced Training Residency. You will be working alongside experienced mental health pharmacists to contribute to best practice patient care. This role is suitable for pharmacists with more than 2 years’ experience in hospital clinical pharmacy practice. Prior experience in mental health pharmacy practice is desirable. As a Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, efficient, and patient-centred pharmacy services for both inpatients and outpatients. You will provide a comprehensive range of professional services including dispensing, clinical support, production, and patient counselling. Your focus will be on optimising drug therapy and contributing to safe and effective medication management while ensuring compliance with hospital policies, SA Health guidelines, and relevant legislation. In this role, you will collaborate closely with medical, nursing, and allied health professionals, offering expert drug and therapeutic advice to support patient care. Working as part of a dedicated pharmacy team, you will ensure the highest standards of service, safety, and quality. About You You are a motivated and detail-oriented pharmacist with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent, with registration or eligibility for registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia. Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately, manage tasks independently, and collaborate within a team. Practical experience from pre-registration training in hospital or community settings, with sound technical and patient counselling skills. Solid knowledge of clinical pharmacy practice, dispensing, medication production, and relevant legislation including the Pharmacy Act.
