Full time continuing role availablePlay a vital role as an experienced Workplace Compliance Analyst providing analytical and operational support with the Workplace Compliance teamBase salary $112,065 - $122,702 + 17% superannuationAbout the opportunityThe new Workplace Compliance team, in the broader Workplace Relations and Compliance unit, is responsible for providing high-quality technical advice, related to the University's Enterprise Agreement, relevant workplace legislation and University policies (with a particular emphasis on payment and work allocation of staff). The team maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders and works with both professional and academic staff across the University to drive the prevention, early intervention and resolution of workplace compliance matters. Key priorities include the implementation and support of strategic compliance initiatives, proactive compliance monitoring and continuous improvement to ensure the University meets its compliance obligations.The Workplace Compliance Analyst provides analytical and operational support to the Workplace Compliance team. The role is responsible for data analysis, reporting, and system monitoring to identify compliance risks and trends. Working closely with the Workplace Compliance Officers and Workplace Compliance Advisors, the Analyst contributes to investigations, supports the development of insights, and ensures accurate documentation and reporting to inform decision-making and compliance assurance.

Your key responsibilities will be to:support investigations by gathering evidence, conducting desktop reviews, and preparing documentationmonitor compliance systems to ensure data accuracy and timely updatesdevelop dashboards, reports, and visualisations to support decision-making and compliance assuranceassist in preparing reports for senior management, committees, and governance bodiesmaintain comprehensive and well-organised records of compliance activities and case outcomes to ensure documentation meets audit and regulatory standardsprovide administrative support to the team, including coordination of meetings and document preparationsupport the implementation of assurance controls and compliance mechanisms. About youtertiary qualifications in a relevant field and/or relevant training and experienceextensive experience as a reporting and data analyst in a data and research-intensive environmentextensive experience in retrieval of data from central data sources and experience manipulating data and undertaking appropriate analysisdemonstrated excellent communication skills and extensive experience proactively consulting to people at all levels including internal leadership and staff delivering clear and concise advice and solutions in a multidisciplinary and highly complex organisationhighly organised, analytical and excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to critically evaluate and analyse complex information and data to provide insightrobust problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgement and ability to prioritise workload during busy periods.Sponsorship / work rights for AustraliaYou must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to be eligible to apply.
