Our client is seeking compassionate and committed Registered Midwives to join their maternity services team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive, collaborative environment that is dedicated to delivering high quality, woman centred care.
You will be joining a well established maternity service with a strong focus on safety, excellence, and positive birth experiences for women and families.
About the Role
As a Registered Midwife, you will provide holistic, evidence based midwifery care across the maternity journey. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, respectful, and individualised care.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing high quality, woman centred midwifery care
* Supporting women and families throughout pregnancy, labour, birth, and postnatal care
* Working collaboratively with obstetricians, paediatricians, and other health professionals
* Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and adhering to policies and procedures
* Contributing to a positive team culture and continuous quality improvement initiatives
* Upholding professional, ethical, and clinical standards at all times
To be successful in this role, you will be a motivated and caring midwife with a strong commitment to best practice maternity care.
You will bring:
* Current registration with AHPRA as a Midwife
* Experience working in Birth Suite, maternity, or women's health services
* Strong clinical assessment and decision making skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A team focused approach with the ability to work independently when required
* A commitment to ongoing professional development
* Recent experience in Birth Suite or acute maternity settings
* Additional postgraduate qualifications in Midwifery
* Experience working in multidisciplinary clinical environments

Requirements
* National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
* Working with Children Check and proof of immunisation may be required
