**Job Description**:
Reservations Agent
You are the beginning of an exceptional guest experience. As a Reservations Agent, you will make our guests feel welcome and reflect the exceptional experience the come when they arrive!

What you will be doing:

- Use the hotel systems to process and input all reservations types in an accurate and efficient manner.
- Maintain a positive selling approach to maximise yield in both occupancy and rates.
- Possess strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workflow and workload individually and across the team.
- Respond to guest calls according to hotel policy and ensuring an outstanding guest experience.
- Co-ordinate group reservations.
- Ensure arrivals list is checked on a daily basis to displaying correct rate and market codes.
- Ensure accurate data is recorded for all reservations.
- Consistently offer exceptional, friendly and engaging service.
- Recommend property facilities and assist guests with information and special requests.
- Book room reservation requests, enter rooming lists, and update accurate information in the system

**Qualifications**:
Your experience and skills include:

- Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
- An energetic, team-focused and can-do attitude.
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.
- The ability to manage time and multi-task.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- An outcome driven approach to performance and results.
- A natural ability to build and maintain internal and external client relationships.
- Knowledge and experience using Opera advantageous.
