Job Overview
* Study and interpret technical drawings and network line diagrams to ensure efficient construction and maintenance of electricity distribution networks.
* Undertake the construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground line networks in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
* Respond to emergency situations on high/low voltage distribution assets, prioritizing safety and minimizing downtime.
The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems, experience working with complex networks, and exposure to best practices in a comparable environment. A valid Tasmania Electrical Licence and Glove & Barrier qualification are required. Heavy vehicle drivers licence is highly desirable. The incumbent may be required to travel within the state, including overnight stays, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
