The Australian Bureau of Meteorology’s Aviation, Land and Maritime transport Program (ALMT) is looking for Aviation Service Improvement Lead/s to promote continuous improvement in aviation meteorological services.
This will be achieved by firstly implementing ALMT program's quality management system to assess areas for improvement, and secondly managing, developing, delivering, and evaluating training and competency assessments.
The training and competency assessment activity will be focussed on Aviation systems and services provided by Bureau Meteorologists in Aviation Operations.
The successful applicant will ensure our meteorologists have the appropriate training, technical and operational support to deliver high quality service to customers and pilots.
Furthermore, they will contribute to the development of new Bureau systems, technology and work practices as required.
