Located in the beautiful coastal town of Anglesea on Victoria’s Surf Coast, Camp Wilkin and Burnside Camp host schools, churches, community groups and holiday camps year-round - combining quality facilities, caring staff and purposeful programming to deliver experiences that have lasting impact.
About the Role
We are expanding our Anglesea team and invite applications for:
* Kitchenhand
* Cleaner (Housekeeping)
* A combination of both roles
Shifts are available across seven days, with flexible hours to suit availability. Regular and ongoing shifts with part-time opportunities possible depending on availability.
These roles are essential to the guest experience. Whether preparing meals for a large school group or ensuring rooms and amenities are spotless, you will contribute directly to creating a safe, welcoming and high-quality camp environment.
Kitchenhand Responsibilities
* Maintain a clean and well-functioning kitchen
* Wash dishes, utensils and commercial kitchen equipment to required standards
* Assist chefs with food preparation and meal service
* Follow all food safety, health and workplace safety requirements
* Contribute positively to a team culture that values excellence and service
Desirable:
* Experience in a commercial kitchen or hospitality setting
* Food Handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain – available online at no cost)
Cleaning / Housekeeping Responsibilities
* Clean accommodation, bathrooms and shared amenities
* General site cleaning, maintaining high standards of presentation across guest areas
* Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
* Follow safe work practices and site procedures
Desirable:
* Experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning
* Experience in customer-focused environments
About You
You will be:
* A reliable and punctual team player
* Positive, flexible and willing to learn
* Able to work efficiently in a team or autonomously
* Committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
* Available for a mix of weekday, evening or weekend shifts
Previous experience is valued but not essential — training will be provided.
Essential Requirements:
* Victorian Employee Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Valid right to work in Australia
