The Tennant Creek Women's Refuge (TCWR) is a not-for-profit, specialist non-government organisation committed to assisting and enabling women and children experiencing domestic and family violence in Tennant Creek and the Barkly to be safe, recover and thrive.
The Tennant Creek Women's Refuge was incorporated on 26 April 1989 and continues to provide the necessary services and supports 365 days of the year, 24 hours a day to meet its vision: that all women and children in the Barkly Region live free from domestic and family violence and its consequences.

You will be able to effectively communicate your expertise in the areas of the position responsibilities within a sensitive and complex human services environment.
Your aim as Administration Officer will be to provide support in the areas of general administration, office systems, human resources, finance, risk management and workplace health and safety.
Your duty of care will extend, but not be limited, to the following considerations:

Duties include (but are not limited to):
* Input and upload data collection for the outreach and crisis accommodation service;
* Maintain registers including Asset, Staff, Emergency Response Funds;
* Provide Administration Support in relation to Supplier Payments (invoicing) and Payroll;
* Liaise with IT (Leading Edge) to maintain systems are operating effectively;
* Process inward and outgoing mail;
* Establish and maintain basic databases and records systems including mailing lists, membership details, office records, and others as required;
* Maintain the timely filing of human resource documents;
* Monitor expiry dates and notify staff of impending expiry of contracts, drivers licence, National Police check and Ochre card (NT);
* and other general administration duties.
