We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to ensure the smooth operation of our distribution site. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely storing and delivering items, managing stock movements, and processing client orders.
Key responsibilities include:
* Receiving and checking of incoming deliveries
* Safely preparing, packing, and dispatching stock manually and via forklift/order picker
* Inspecting disability equipment before delivery and after collection, reporting any maintenance needs
* Liaising with clinicians, Allied Health Assistants, and clients to coordinate equipment distribution
* Contributing to the development of work instructions and procedures
* Adhering to our work health and safety systems and reporting any unsafe conditions or practices
The role also involves working closely with the project team to carry out logistic functions of a pilot program regarding refurbishment of second-hand equipment.
Applicants with previous warehouse experience and familiarity with computerised stock systems are encouraged to apply. However, we're also open to providing on-the-job training if you can demonstrate basic computer literacy, ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure, strong customer service focus, teamwork, initiative, and task prioritisation.
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
* A valid forklift and order-picking license
* A valid driver's licence and willingness to use your own vehicle for travel if required
* A current NDIS Worker Screening and DHS Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
