We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager based in Melbourne, to drive the development of our current business and help grow new markets we are entering.
Main Responsibilities:
* Identify and convert new business opportunities for Ingredients in the Victorian and South Australian territories. Some travel may be required to other states
* Develop and implement detailed sales strategies
* Proactively engage with current and new customers to conclude new commercial supply agreements through all available channels
* Prepare and conduct presentations and negotiations with prospective customers
* Obtain market intelligence from customers to help define the opportunity pipeline and future product portfolio
**Key Skills and Qualifications:**
* A background in both sales experience and tertiary qualifications (Degree level preferred), ideally in Food Sciences or related disciplines
* Knowledge of the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical markets would also be desirable, but not essential
* The ability to manage a Business Territory and work independently
