Our Townsville Home and Community Service is seeking part-time Support Services Workers. Our Support Services Workers provide invaluable support by offering general household cleaning, laundry, cooking, and social support to our older population with help around their homes.
About you:
* Comfortable in the use of housekeeping equipment
* Able to follow domestic care plans
* Clear communicator who can maintain professional boundaries with clients and their families
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively with the elderly
* Physically fit, reliable, enthusiastic, and friendly
* A Certificate II or III in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations) is highly regarded but not required
Qualifications:
* Current Driver Licence and your own reliable vehicle
* A current National Police Certificate
* Tetanus and Hepatitis B shots (or willingness to obtain)
