TEN Recruitment have recently gained partnership with one of Perth privately owned construction companies, due to continued company growth they have asked us to recruit for an experienced Site Supervisor to join their team in January. The successful applicant will be reporting directly to the Project Manager and joining our clients existing Operations Team to work on a range of projects across the Perth Metro Area. Your first projects will be a $10m new build industrial project based SOR.
Your responsibilities may include:
* Conduct inductions for new subcontractors and site employees.
* Keep the Project Manager up to date with project progress and programme reports.
* Day-to-day management of subcontractors and site employees to optimise project results.
* Establish the site in coordination with all relevant WHS requirements and established workplace rules.
* Liaise with security personnel, safety representatives and the client to resolve any potential construction related issues.
* Additional HSE responsibilities such as workplace inspections, hazard/incident reports, permit issues, toolbox talks and safety observations.
* Ensure all scheduled works are completed within the given timeframe.
* Maintenance of relevant site documentation.
Essential criteria:
* Be a qualified tilt up construction Supervisor
* 2+ years’ experience in a Site Supervisor position.
* Sound understanding of HSEQ infrastructure.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage subcontractors.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel, Outlook and Word.
* Capable of working within a team environment as well as autonomously.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communications.
* Excellent client liaison skills with the ability to communicate professionally with external stakeholders.
* Outstanding organisation skills.
* High attention to detail.
Our client offers a salary range from $130k to $150k plus super DOE & company vehicle or allowance.
