Overview
We are on the hunt for a Subdivision & Development Engineer to drive quality outcomes for Council and Community. Shellharbour City Council has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Subdivision and Development Engineer to assess and determine development and subdivision applications under the Local Government Act, support Council's certifying responsibilities through inspections and evaluations and promote a customer-focused approach that enhances outcomes for both the community and Council.
You will be responsible for assessing and managing the development of new subdivisions as well as built form developments by providing professional engineering advice.
This role also includes conducting development and/or subdivision assessment and inspections having regard to Council's role as Principal Certifier as well as providing advice to developers and Council staff and managing customer requests.
About you
You are a qualified engineer with subdivision and development engineering experience, a self-starter with a solid understanding of the planning and legislative framework governing engineering design, construction and certification.
