About the Role
This is your chance to lead teaching teams with purpose, passion and a progressive approach. As Program Lead, you’ll guide educators to deliver outstanding VET learning experiences, oversee program quality and compliance, and keep your own teaching practice current through a teaching component. You’ll be at the centre of a dynamic, future?focused program area where collaboration, innovation and student success drive everything we do.
Key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
* Lead and inspire teachers to maintain professional development, industry currency and high performance.
* Oversee teacher workplans, timetabling and utilisation to deliver strong program outcomes.
* Support your team with coaching, mentoring, induction and people related processes.
* Manage the design, delivery and continuous improvement of high quality VET teaching and assessment.
* Teach within the program to maintain industry currency and connection with students.

About You
You’re a natural leader who brings positivity, clarity and authenticity to everything you do. You understand VET, you’re confident shaping high performing teams and you thrive in environments driven by quality, engagement and continuous improvement. You know how to build trust, influence outcomes and create learning experiences that matter.
Additionally, you will have:
* A current Electrical A Grade licence and experience underpinning strong industry credibility, practical insight and confidence leading teams in technical vocational environments.
* Demonstrated knowledge and application of contemporary VET teaching methodologies.
* Ability to develop and enhance systems and processes for efficiency and improvement
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, engage and build strong relationships.
* Teaching qualification at AQF Level 6 or above (aligned to Victorian TAFE Teaching Staff Agreement 2024).
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (current and compliant with training package requirements).
* A degree, diploma or other approved qualification in the relevant vocational area and demonstrated competencies at least to the level to be delivered and assessed.

Salary Range:
Education Manager 2 | $134,691.00 + Superannuation
