Join RSPCA WAas our next Engagement Manager
As Engagement Manager, you'll take ownership of a key functional area within our Community Engagement directorate - leading innovation, growing revenue, and creating meaningful ways for our community to support animals in need.
This is an exciting role, with a preference for full‐time but flexibility available including part‐time, for someone who wants to make a real impact in their community.
The Impact You'll Make
Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in:
* Driving the strategic growth of our commercial dog training program
* Designing and delivering engaging external fundraising events
* Developing and expanding income-generating retail and fundraising products
* Supporting and activating national campaigns and federation initiatives
* Identifying and launching new fundraising programs and revenue opportunities
Your leadership will directly contribute to sustainable income streams that power our mission to prevent cruelty and promote kindness to animals.
The Leader We're Looking For
You're commercially savvy but purpose-driven. Strategic yet hands-on. You thrive on turning ideas into action and building programs that deliver measurable results.
You bring:
* Strong experience in fundraising, events, commercial program management or community engagement
* A track record of growing revenue and building sustainable programs
* A collaborative mindset and the ability to work cross-functionally
* A passion for delivering outstanding supporter and customer experiences
You'll work closely with teams across Philanthropy, Partnerships, Individual Giving, Planned Giving and Marketing, as well as the national federation and external stakeholders, to optimise client and supporter acquisition, engagement and retention.
Why This Role Matters
Every event you deliver, every product you launch, every initiative you grow helps create a future where animals are safe, cared for and valued.
This is a role for someone who wants to:
* Lead with purpose
* Build something bigger
* Make a measurable difference
Due to the nature of Community Engagement, some out-of-hours work will be required, because when community calls, we show up.
