Workshop Tradesperson – Boilermaker
Location: Tomago, NSW
Bis is looking for a skilled Boilermaker to join our Tomago Workshop team. In this role, you'll carry out preventative welding maintenance and repairs on a wide range of plant and machinery, supporting both workshop and in-field operations.
About the role
You will:
* Maintain and repair loaders, graders, transporters, attachments, and other mobile and underground machinery.
* Carry out preventative maintenance, inspections, and safe operation of tools and equipment.
* Supervise and provide on-the-job training to apprentices.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues across operations, workshop, and safety teams.
* Contribute to a strong Zero Harm culture through safe work practices, reporting, and active participation in safety initiatives.
About you
You will bring:
* Trade qualification: Boilermaker / Welder.
* Experience in heavy vehicle maintenance and repairs (e.g., road trains, loaders).
* Commitment to safe work practices and procedures.
* Team-focused attitude with good communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to complete tasks to a high standard, on time and with attention to detail.
