The Role
Due to growth, a new Assistant Development Manager is required to join the development team and support the delivery of multiple high-end mixed-use projects. Working closely with experienced Development Managers, the role will assist across programme management, consultant coordination, contract administration, cost tracking, purchaser customisations and project delivery activities through to settlement and completion.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with coordination of consultants, contractors and project stakeholders across active developments
* Support contract administration, procurement and project documentation processes
* Track project programmes, milestones and construction progress
* Assist with cost management, variation tracking and financial administration
* Coordinate project reporting, meeting minutes and action registers
* Support purchaser customisation and variation coordination
* Assist with settlement, defects and completion processes
* Coordinate communication between consultants, contractors, authorities and internal teams
* Support marketing launches, display suite coordination and purchaser engagement activities
* Maintain accurate project records, registers and reporting documentation
Requirements
This position will suit someone early in their development career who enjoys the technical and coordination side of projects and has genuine interest in premium architecture, luxury residential product and high-quality built-form outcomes. Candidates coming from property development or architecture environments with exposure to delivery-phase projects will all be considered. Ideally you will possess:
* A Degree qualified in property, architecture, construction, or a related discipline
* Experience working on apartments or mixed-use projects. High-end/luxury experience would be advantageous
* Exposure to construction delivery, consultant management, design, and planning
* The ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced project environment
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* High attention to detail and strong administrative capability
* The ability to work collaboratively across development, design and construction teams
