Join our dynamic Primary Care team in Ulverstone, Tasmania as a Part Time Nurse Practitioner in Community Rapid Response Service, working for the Department of Health.

What You'll Do

* Provide rapid response nursing care to patients in community settings
* Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop treatment plans
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
* Support patients and families through acute health episodes
* Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and evidence‑based practice


What We're Looking For

* Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with AHPRA
* Experience in acute care, emergency, or community health settings
* Strong clinical assessment and decision‑making skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the region

Details of appointment

Permanent part time, shift worker position, working 48 hours per fortnight, commencing from a mutually agreed upon date.

Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.


Salary

$144,146 per annum pro rata. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

* Post Graduate Allowance of up to 7.5% based on qualification type


Salary Packaging

You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

* Travel and relocation assistance support available up to $15,000 for eligible appointees from overseas, and up to $10,000 for appointees from interstate

Additional information

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.

* Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse and endorsed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner
* Current Driver's Licence
