Overview

A unique opportunity exists for a qualified Swimming Pool Inspector to improve community safety through the inspection and regulation of swimming pool barriers across the city. Working within the Environmental Health and Building Certification team, this role delivers customer focused regulatory services, balancing compliance with education and community engagement to achieve improved safety outcomes.

Responsibilities
* Inspect swimming pool barriers for compliance with legislation and Australian Standards
* Assess and determine swimming pool compliance certificate applications
* Investigate complaints and provide clear advice to pool owners and stakeholders
* Prepare compliance notices, technical reports and legal documentation
* Contribute to policy, process improvement and represent Council as a technical expert
About You

You are a qualified and registered Swimming Pool Inspector with strong legislative knowledge and a commitment to community safety. You communicate clearly, work effectively both independently and as part of a team and take pride in providing professional, fair and consistent regulatory services that protect the community.

* Starting salary range from $80,011 - $84,908 per annum, plus 12% superannuation
