The Role
We're seeking a passionate and driven individual to become an ambassador for our brand and play a key role in delivering exceptional support at The Boat Works. In this dynamic position, you'll manage bookings, coordinate lift schedules, process accounts and providing exceptional customer service.

You'll handle daily customer interactions via phone, email and walk in whilst ensuring smooth operations. You'll play a vital role in the success of the business by organising and scheduling bookings, maintaining accurate records, and supporting our team in ensuring everything runs seamlessly.

Duties and Responsibilities:
· Management of client enquiries via face to face, email / phone
· Ensure customer service remains a priority
· Highly organised and able to manage time effectively, meeting deadlines for tasks
· Track vessel movements and create/manage boat bookings
· Process quotes, invoices, and payments accurately
· Maintain customer records (marine-specific software)
· Support day-to-day administrative functions and assist with scheduling
· Collaborate with team members and ensure smooth operations across the yard
Skills & Experience Required:
· Minimum 5+ years of experience in customer service and administration
· Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-first mentality
· Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal)
· Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented with excellent time management abilities
· Experience with invoicing, receipting, and reconciliation of accounts
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database management
· Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
· A "can-do" attitude with the flexibility to adapt to new challenges
· Full driver's license
Desirable Qualifications:
· Previous experience in the marine industry beneficial
· Knowledge of accounting software and CRM management systems
· Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently
· Strong team player
· Highly motivated
· High attention to detail and high level or accuracy
· Willing to learn and be trained
