B & A King Transport is a small Australian logistics business, sub-contracting to PGH Bricks & Pavers in Melbourne, Australia.
Due to our company growth, we are expanding our fleet and currently seeking a Heavy Rigid Brick Truck Driver to join our team based out of either the Scoresby or Thomastown yards. This role would ideally suit someone starting their career in logistics and transport management. On the job training is available for as long as required from an experienced truck driver with over 50 years of experience and industry knowledge.
The role offers:

* On the job training for as long as required.
* Delivering of bricks throughout Melbourne Metro and regional Victoria only (no interstate delivery).
* Drivers have the option of working from Thomastown or Scoresby dispatch yards.

We are interested in hearing from candidates who are starting their career in logistics. Those who have minimal experience will have the potential to move from driving a twin steer truck to a larger truck and trailer.
The successful candidate will:
* Display a high standard of personal and vehicle presentation
* Hold a heavy rigid & road ranger licence
* Hold a forklift licence
* Industry white card
* Have a good attitude when dealing with customers and team members
* Have a clean driving history (VicRoads driver history report will be required)
