As an Associate or Senior Associate in our full‐time permanent position on a growing personal injury practice in Maroochydore, you'll be on the front line as we doggedly seek justice. This role involves working across a variety of personal injury matters.
While this is a full‐time position, we are open to flexible working arrangements that can be discussed during recruitment.
Responsibilities
* Provide clients with legal advice and representation to obtain compensation.
* Work across a variety of client matters that require a high level of sensitivity.
* Provide legal advice tailored to each client's level of understanding.
* Develop and maintain strong professional working relationships with clients, including effective and regular communication and managing client expectations.
* Draft legal documentation with a high degree of attention to detail.
* Manage and run a file load with a high level of commercial and fiscal awareness.
Requirements
* Bachelor of Laws and a current practising certificate.
* Post‐admission experience in personal injury.
* A passion and drive to build a career as a personal injury solicitor.
* A strong understanding of, and ability to interpret, the relevant legislation and legal documentation.
* Enjoy working on legally challenging and factually complex matters.
* Maturity and confidence to deal with clients who may be experiencing trauma.
* A desire to be part of a strong, cohesive team that works together to achieve great results.
