Job Summary:
This role involves driving company trucks to deliver sprayer or fertilizer orders safely and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Safe Transportation: Drive company vehicles to transport products to customers while ensuring safety and accuracy of delivery.
2. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records as required by company and government regulations.
3. Product Delivery: Pick up and deliver products to customers as needed, adhering to safe handling procedures.
4. Equipment Maintenance: Load or assist in loading trailers with materials, and unload or assist in unloading bulk chemicals and fertilizers safely using forklifts or hand trucks.
Requirements:
* Education: High School diploma required.
* Driving Experience: Prior driving experience preferred.
* Licensing: Valid driver's license and endorsements, including CDL with hazmat endorsement (if required).
* * Physical Demands: Ability to lift/carry up to 75 pounds, meet minimum DOT age requirements.
* Screening: Pass pre-employment drug and background screening, meet DOT and company requirements.
* Availability: Willingness to work additional hours as needed.
Compensation and Benefits:
Estimated hourly wage: $18-$21 per hour, depending on location and experience. Paid sick days are provided. Additional benefits may vary based on the nature of the role.
