About the Role
The Event Support Supervisor is the central communications link across all event day operations. You will work directly alongside the Event Manager and provide hands‐on support to the Hospitality Manager, Operations Manager, and all Team Leaders throughout the event — keeping everyone connected, informed, and equipped to do their jobs.
What You'll Be Responsible For
* Distributing, managing, and collecting all radios and communication devices at the start and end of each event
* Monitoring radio channels and facilitating communication between departments throughout the event
* Supporting the pre‐event briefing and ensuring all Team Leaders are clear on timelines and expectations
* Monitoring the progress of all operational areas and flagging emerging issues to the Event Manager
* Assisting with incident documentation and maintaining an operational log throughout the event
* Ensuring all Team Leaders have completed staff timesheets before being released from the venue
What We're Looking For
* Strong communication and coordination skills
* Experience in events, venue operations, or a supervisory role
* Calm and organised under pressure with strong attention to detail
* Comfortable working across multiple teams and escalating issues effectively
