Lead Educator - After School Care
Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced educator to lead our new After School Care service located at Warrenheip. As the Lead Educator, you will have the opportunity to design and deliver high-quality programs that cater to the needs of children aged 5-12 years old. You will work closely with a team of educators to create a fun and engaging environment that promotes learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and deliver educational programs that meet the needs of children aged 5-12 years old
* Supervise and mentor a team of educators to ensure they are delivering high-quality care and education
* Build relationships with parents and carers to ensure open communication and collaboration
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
* Participate in ongoing professional development to improve skills and knowledge
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
* Experience working with children aged 5-12 years old
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to pass a National Police Check and Working with Children's Check
