Audiological Specialist
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Audiologist to fill a critical role in our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing client hearing loss, providing counselling and advice, and developing treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct audiometric tests to assess client hearing loss
* Develop and implement rehabilitation programs for clients with hearing impairment
* Provide counselling services to clients and their families
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop noise control and hearing conservation strategies
* Treat and manage hearing and communication disorders caused by age, disability, injury, or disease
Requirements:
* Bachelor of Audiology degree or equivalent qualification
* Current membership of AudA or ACAud
* Current QP number
* Solid audiological skills and knowledge
* Excellent customer care and service skills
* Ability to learn new software with training
* Proven ability to achieve KPIs
* Well-developed interpersonal and problem-solving skills
* Commitment to continued professional development
