Description
Atkinsons Airconditioning Pty Ltd is a trusted Sunshine Coast air‐conditioning specialist with over 35 years of experience. The company supplies, installs, maintains and repairs split system, ducted and commercial HVAC systems. As authorised Fujitsu specialists, Atkinsons Air delivers reliable, energy‐efficient climate solutions for homes, offices, retail spaces, hospitals and large commercial developments.
Responsibilities
* Install, maintain, service, and repair commercial and residential air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
* Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on split systems, ducted systems, refrigeration units, and ventilation equipment.
* Conduct routine preventative maintenance and system inspections to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
* Test electrical circuits, components, controls, and refrigerant systems using specialised diagnostic equipment.
* Install compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors, fans, ductwork, piping and associated equipment.
* Recover, vacuum, test and recharge refrigerant systems using gas and fluid pressure testing methods and vacuum pumps, in accordance with industry regulations and environmental standards.
* Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, plans and specifications for installation and repair works.
* Ensure all work is completed in accordance with required Standards, WHS requirements and company procedures.
* Identify and recommend system upgrades, repairs and energy‐efficient solutions to clients where required.
* Prepare service reports, maintenance records and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
* Liaise professionally with customers, suppliers and team members regarding job requirements.
* Maintain tools, equipment and company vehicles in a safe and clean condition.
* Assist with emergency breakdown services.
* Work collaboratively with the team, including providing guidance and on‐the‐job training.
* Ensure high standards of workmanship, customer service and attention to detail across all projects.
Qualifications
* Relevant industry qualification or at least 2–3 years of experience in a similar position.
* ARCtick certification is preferred but not mandatory.
* Good knowledge of HVAC systems and diagnostic equipment.
