Clinical safety and quality Comprehensive orientation program Relevant Qualifications/Certifications An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic individual with experience in quality improvement and management to join our team. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Quality Manager will facilitate ongoing implementation and monitoring of the Hospital’s clinical safety and quality framework. They will lead the coordination of quality improvement initiatives, projects and activities to maintain patient safety, accreditation standards, regulatory compliance and patient experience, in accordance with the mission, vision and values. As a Quality Manager, your responsibilities will include but not limited to: Facilitate ongoing implementation and monitoring of the Hospital/Facility wide quality improvement program and to promote risk management to support the strategic direction Lead all accreditation processes Provide effective leadership in quality and risk management to assist Managers to continuously review their practices Participation in clinical data collection, collation and analysis Participate and coordinate case review investigations Coach and consult with Managers in quality improvements in order to build capacity and capability The Melbourne Clinic is Australia’s largest private mental health services providing 203 inpatient beds, standalone day program centres, an outreach program, consulting suites at three locations and a consultation liaison service. Nationally and internationally renowned for our quality mental health care services, our docus is to provide our patients with the support and expertise from a comprehensive multi-disciplinary team of over 200 accredited psychiatrists, addiction medicine specialists, pain medicine specialists and experienced registered mental health nurses, Allied health staff (psychologists, social workers, dietitians, exercise physiologist, art therapists and pastoral care worker) in conjunction with several key support services such as administration and housekeeping services. Selection Criteria: Tertiary qualifications in clinical and non-clinical disciplines Proven track record in effectively implementing organisational wide initiatives, with significant experience influencing teams in building a quality improvement culture Problem solving and analytical skills Knowledge of ACHS Accreditation System against the National Standards (NSQHS) Innovation and creativity Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite, particularly in the use of Word and Excel Educational and auditing skills Flexibility and openness to new ideas Applications close: 23rd March 2026 For further enquiries: Director of Nursing, Phoebe Sra, phoebe.sra@healthscope.com.au To Apply: Please click on the 'Apply' button to be taken to our online application form.
