Who We Are
ANMF Tas is the voice for around 8,000 nurses, midwives, and care workers in Tasmania. We're both:
* A strong union – negotiating workplace conditions, wages, securing professional indemnity, legal support, and offering individual representation for members,
* A professional body – advocating in policy forums, delivering education and CPD workshops to help members upskill.
Our mission is to champion better working conditions, higher standards of care, and improved public health policy. We support public, private, and aged‑care sectors, and we proudly stand for equity, inclusion, and quality healthcare for all Tasmanians.
Your Role in Our Story
* Be the first friendly face and voice for members and visitors – your warmth sets the tone
* Manage calls, emails, and enquiries with poise and positivity.
* Coordinate bookings, manage organisational inventory and stock levels and maintain a smooth-running front desk.
* Liaise with the Member Operations Team to help connect people with the right advice and services.
* Provide admin support for union campaigns, manage records and data management and assist internal departments as needed
You Bring
* A natural communicator who's outgoing and empathetic.
* Stellar organisation skills with a multitasking mindset.
* Basic tech savviness — Word, Excel, email, and booking systems.
* Reception or admin experience is a plus; passion and a positive attitude matter most
