As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a skilled and experienced Chef/Cook to join our dedicated kitchen team.
* A minimum of 2 years' experience working in an Indian kitchen
* Ability to perform under pressure during busy service periods
* Strong skills in tandoor cooking, curry preparation, and entrée plating
* Understanding of Indian spices, marination techniques, and traditional cooking methods
* Excellent kitchen hygiene and food safety practices
* Team player with a can-do attitude and willingness to adapt
* Availability to work nights and weekends
The key responsibilities include preparing and cooking authentic Indian curries, operating and managing the tandoor oven, handling starters, maintaining consistent portion control and quality of dishes, and assisting with daily mise en place and kitchen prep.
