The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Retail Store Manager to take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of our Singleton store.
This role is hands-on and commercial — you'll lead our team, control stock and budgets, and drive sales and service standards that make Edge Pizza a local favourite.
Key Responsibilities
* Determine product mix, stock levels and service standards to maximise sales and maintain brand consistency.
* Formulate and implement purchasing and marketing policies, manage supplier relations and set competitive pricing in line with business goals.
* Promote and advertise the store's products and services through local marketing, digital platforms and community partnerships.
* Sell and upsell goods and services directly to customers, providing guidance on menu items, deals and product use.
* Maintain accurate records of stock levels, sales and financial transactions using our POS and reporting systems.
* Prepare and manage budgets for the store, monitor KPIs and take corrective action to achieve targets.
* Control the selection, training, rostering and supervision of staff, ensuring high morale and consistent service quality.
* Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety and food-safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
About You
* Minimum 1 year experience as a Retail Store Manager or equivalent leadership role in a fast-casual /QSR environment (e.g. Domino's, Pizza Hut, Grill'd etc.)/ supermarket (e.g. IGA, Foodworks, Coles, Woolies).
* Diploma-level qualification or higher relevant to retail management or hospitality operations is required.
* The diploma-level or higher qualification may be in Business/Management, Hospitality, Retail Management, or any related field of study.
* Strong skills in inventory management, rostering and team leadership.
* Solid understanding of sales targets, budgets and customer metrics.
* Tech-savvy – comfortable with POS systems and Microsoft or Google sheets.
* Positive, hands-on attitude with a commitment to quality and customer service.
* Must have full work rights in Australia or be eligible for employer sponsorship.
* Current food safety certification is required for this role.
* A Food Safety Supervisor certification is specifically required.
