Country & Outback Health is a not-for-profit organisation focused on building healthier and happier communities.
We deliver a diverse range of mental health, allied health, addiction support, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, NDIS services, and support services for young people within our headspace centres.
About the role
Promote positive mental health outcomes for clients in the primary care setting, including:
Delivery of a collaborative, goal-oriented, evidence-based therapeutic interventions and strategies within a primary care setting for eligible clients.
Identifying agencies and community groups that will assist with the facilitation of treatment and recovery.
Outreach to Roxby Downs once a month; a company car will be provided.
About You
A genuine caring nature with a passion to help others.
Excellent communication skills to build meaningful relationships.
A qualification suitable for appropriate registration, such as:
• Social Worker
• Psychologist / Provisional Psychologist / Occupational Therapist
• Registered Nurse (RN)
Minimum of two years full-time post-graduate experience working within a primary/community mental health setting or equivalent (desirable).
Some out-of-hours work and intra-state travel may be required.
