We're looking for someone special to join our Front of House team at Wharf St. Distillery — a place where community, hospitality and exceptional spirits come together. This isn't just a job behind the bar or on the floor — it's about helping us create a warm, welcoming experience that guests remember (and come back for).
Whether it's running food & drinks, sharing the story behind our award-winning gins, or jumping in to help a teammate in the weeds — you bring energy, care and teamwork to everything you do.
Who we're looking for
- Has a genuine love for people and makes guests feel welcome the moment they walk through the door
- Brings a positive, team-first attitude — no job too big or small
- Understands that hospitality is a shared effort, not just a section on the floor
- Can communicate clearly and calmly under pressure
- Takes pride in presentation, punctuality, and professionalism
- Learns rapid, listens well, and takes feedback with maturity
- Knows how to keep things fun, even when it's busy
- Holds a current RSA certification (required) and is 18 years old or over (required)
- Available to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Experience in bar or restaurant service is great — but it's your attitude that matters most. We can train skills. We can't teach hustle, heart, or the ability to lift your team on a tough night.

What you'll be doing
- Greeting and seating guests with warmth and efficiency
- Taking orders, running food and drinks, and keeping service smooth
- Learning our gins, cocktails and story — and sharing it with passion
- Helping out across both levels of the venue as needed
- Supporting your teammates with whatever needs doing
- Keeping service areas clean, stocked and guest-ready
- Upholding Wharf St.'s values of respect, inclusion and professionalism every shift
