About the role
The Service Leader Museum and Gallery is a diverse and exciting role with the primary focus of providing Arts, Cultural and Lifelong learning opportunities for Coffs Harbour Local government area residents and visitors through our Museum and Gallery facilities including the recently opened ‘YAM (Yarrila Arts and Museum)' at Yarrila Place.
The successful candidate would have experience in managing museum and/or gallery facilities, with a community-focused approach to service delivery and improvement. The ideal candidate will also have well-developed leadership capabilities that support and result in high team performance.
Collaborating with the Team Leader Cultural Services this role will:
4. Coordinate museum and gallery delivery and services, including exhibitions, collections management, and outreach services.
5. Ensure Museum and Gallery exhibitions, programs and activations are effectively marketed through print and digital mediums.
6. Undertake community and commercial engagement and advocacy activities to support the team's plans and objectives.

Essential Qualifications and Experience
17. Post-graduate qualification in Museum Studies, Cultural Studies, History, Visual Arts, Fine Arts, or related field.
18. Current Working with Children Check
19. Current Class C Drivers Licence.
Desirable
20. Responsible Service of Alcohol credentials
21. Current First Aid
