We are currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Carpenter for ongoing work in the North West Pilbara Region (Karratha based), on full time contract, with attractive rates.
Responsibilities
* Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials, according to specifications.
* Work on a variety of construction projects.
* Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine project requirements.
* Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials to precise specifications.
* Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes, safety standards, and quality controls.
* Maintain a clean and organized worksite, ensuring safety procedures are adhered to at all times.
* Collaborate effectively with other trades and project teams.
Skills & Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Carpenter, with at least 1 year in the trade.
* Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
* Experience with both rough and finishing carpentry.
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* White Card (Construction Induction Card) is required.
* A commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship.
Salary
Expected salary: $96,400 per year
