Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) is entering an exciting period of transformation. With new legislation on the horizon and a bold vision for a digitally enabled, future-ready agency, we are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking executive to join our leadership team as
General Manager, Enablement, Preparedness and Productivity
.
This role is central to FSANZ's future. Leading a high-performing branch of around 40 staff in Canberra, you will oversee the core enabling functions of the agency – including stakeholder engagement, governance, finance, HR, ICT, legal, communications, risk and security. Your leadership will help unlock the full potential of already strong teams, ensuring FSANZ continues to deliver world-leading food standards while preparing for the challenges and opportunities ahead.
Your Impact
* Drive transformational change to align corporate functions with FSANZ's new legislative framework and strategic direction.
* Champion a culture of excellence, inclusion, innovation and continuous improvement.
* Lead digital enablement, governance and workforce capability to strengthen productivity and resilience.
* Partner with the CEO and Executive to set organisational strategy and deliver on FSANZ's mission.
* Ensure effective governance, probity and risk management across all enabling functions.
