The Opportunity
Due to business growth we are excited to announce a new opportunity for an experienced Senior or Lead level Piping Designer to join the team, If you bring piping design expertise across mineral processing and plant layout, this could be the role for you. You'll take ownership of delivering high-quality piping and layouts design for mineral processing and materials handling systems, driving design excellence and ensuring seamless integration across all disciplines.
Key Accountabilities
* Produce models and detailed technical drawings, in accordance with standards, policies and safety-in-design principles and procedures.
* Oversee modelling and drafting using Bentley tools (MicroStation, OpenPlant).
* Coordinate and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams for clash-free, constructible designs.
* Support project teams from brownfield upgrades and EPC/EPCM deliverables.
* Engage with clients to turn requirements into practical solutions.
* Able to lead piping design efforts from concept studies to detailed design and IFC.
What You'll Bring
* 10+ years in a design consultancy or operational environment within mineral processing.
* A Diploma, Advanced Diploma or equivalent engineering qualification.
* Strong design and modelling knowledge across Piping and Mechanical or Structural (preferred)
* Proficient in the design layout of mineral processing plants.
* Expertise in 2D/3D modelling (MicroStation/OpenPlant preferred).
* Familiarity with Australian Standards and mining codes.
