Greenbox Architecture, a leading Australian design practice in architecture and interior design, is a Woolpert company since October 2024. Founded in 2009, Greenbox specialises in mission‐critical architecture for data centres, health, and life sciences, and also offers a robust interiors team for commercial and workplace design. Our portfolio ranges from $400 k to over $3 billion, serving startups to global industry leaders. With over 80 members speaking 30+ languages, we are expanding in Sydney and Melbourne to meet growing demand.
About You
We seek a mid‐level project architect/designer with experience of complex projects, a solid understanding of design development and delivery, adept at problem‐solving and collaboration with team members and consultants for optimal project outcomes. This role offers huge growth potential and the opportunity to contribute to large‐scale projects nationally and globally.
Key Responsibilities
* Work on complex, multi‐phase projects with a focus on achieving high‐quality outcomes and compliance with regulations.
* Prepare architectural drawings and models that accurately reflect the design intent, and assist in ensuring designs and technical documentation are compliant with project requirements and standards under the supervision of senior staff.
* Communicate design concepts effectively to clients and stakeholders using strong visual and verbal presentation skills.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Minimum 5 years of local experience.
* Good understanding of design and construction documentation.
* Solid understanding of Australian building codes.
* Strong technical/construction knowledge highly regarded.
* Experience with complex commercial or large‐scale multi‐residential projects highly regarded.
* Capacity to work as part of a team with the ability to work autonomously as required.
* Revit proficiency essential.
* Rendering (Enscape, Lumion) and Photoshop skills also highly regarded.
