In this role, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of water treatment assets, ensuring they meet Australian Drinking Water Guideline requirements. This includes operating and maintaining the plants in all conditions, undertaking daily water quality testing, and adjusting process control parameters accordingly.
You will also contribute to the prioritization of maintenance and renewals, perform on-site process and asset checks using available systems, processes, and procedures, and manage onsite safety and works coordination through the implementation of safety procedures. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in areas such as computer-aided design, project management, and team leadership.
To be successful in this role, you will need trade qualifications (electrician / instrumentation specialist or mechanical) or qualifications in engineering / science, or equivalent experience. A current driver's license and your own vehicle, with flexibility to travel across various locations within your hub, is also required. Furthermore, you will need to commit to working on a rotating roster, including day shifts, after-hours standby, and weekends.
