The Opportunity
A well-established farming operation in the Ballarat region is seeking a reliable and capable Full-Time Farm Hand to join the team.
This is a long-term position suited to someone looking to build a career in agriculture, working across multiple sites within the region. The role offers variety throughout the year across hay production, harvest operations and general farm duties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with hay production including mowing, raking, baling and carting
• Operate tractors and machinery (round and conventional balers, bale baron systems)
• Operate telehandlers and loaders for stacking and loading bales
• Support harvest operations including chaser bin work
• Carry out routine servicing and basic machinery maintenance
• General farm duties including fencing, yard work and property maintenance
• Work across several farm sites as required
About You:
• Previous experience in farming or agricultural operations preferred
• Experience operating tractors and farm machinery
• Mechanically minded with the ability to carry out basic repairs
• Reliable, physically fit and able to work extended hours during peak periods
• Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle
• Seeking stable, long-term employment in the region
