Expertise in a Financial Crime Compliance Advisory capacity.Strong Knowledge of Business Bank Products, Channels and Services.Proven leadership ability to influence key stakeholders without direct authority.Permanent role, based in Sydney with Hybrid working.The Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) team is accountable for the development, implementation and ongoing governance of the group’s Financial Crime Compliance program.Reporting to the Executive Manager Financial Crime Compliance Business Banking Products, You will work closely with stakeholders across Business Banking teams and FCC risk colleagues to provide financial crime related advice on projects, products, channels, relationships and be an escalation point on matters relating to ongoing financial crime compliance.You will be required to forge strong relationships with the business unit and members of the financial crime community and other risk stakeholder groups to drive outcomes. On any given day, you will:Provide business support and expert advice on FC risk matters to Business Banking stakeholders.Drive and contribute to the development and implementation of FC Policy, guidance and material advice.Contribute to Reporting and Governance across BU and FCC Forums (NFRC, FCRC, FCOSC).Support the EM in development and execution of FCC objectives.Consult on the risk assessments associated with changes to products and processes in Business Banking.Apply the Group’s FCC framework and risk mitigation strategy and drive maturation of this framework.Responsible for execution of FCC Strategy.Reduce the potential impact of current and emerging FCC risks on CBA customers, whilst also driving focus on high-risk customers and customer segments.We’re interested in hearing from people who have:Significant experience in a Financial Crime Compliance Advisory capacity.Thorough understanding of the financial crime regulatory framework with deep technical expertise in AML / CTF, Sanctions and ABC.Strong knowledge of Transaction Banking Products, Merchant Solutions and Customer Lifecycle Management.Exceptional communication skills with proven ability to engage and influence stakeholder groups at all levels.Experience proactively uplifting capability, driving change and leading continuous improvement initiatives through to successful implementation.Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Finance, Law or a relevant industry certification/accreditation (i.e. ACAMS) is desirableWe believe in working for a place that works for you.
