Quality Manager – Visy (Shepparton, Australia)
Overview
As Quality Manager you will lead all aspects of site, product and food safety quality, manufacturing compliance and continuous improvement. You will embed a culture of coaching, mentoring and driving rapid resolution of quality issues, ensuring the site is always audit‑ready.
Responsibilities
* Lead site and product quality, food safety and manufacturing compliance.
* Embed continuous improvement through coaching, mentoring and RCA.
* Drive resolution of quality issues, lead investigations and implement corrective actions quickly.
* Serve as technical lead connecting the site, customers, suppliers and regulators.
* Manage key quality programs, audits, customer complaints and vendor quality issues.
* Support operational performance and embed robust systems that lift site capability.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a quality leadership role in manufacturing.
* Strong skills in coaching, mentoring and continuous improvement.
* Expertise in regulatory compliance, HACCP, FSSC and customer standards.
* Experience managing audits, customer complaints and vendor quality issues.
* Strong RCA, error‑proofing and problem‑solving capability.
* High proficiency with quality systems (SFOL, OFS/Buffey, SAP, MS Office).
* Values aligned to Visy and ability to build strong internal/external relationships.
* Qualifications in Quality Management or similar.
* Technical capability adaptable to complex manufacturing environments.
