ABOUT THE COMPANY.
A Sydney Local Council is seeking a driven parking officer to play a pivotal role in parking enforcement activities and record-keeping. You will report to the Coordinator and work within a highly supportive and collaborative team of 7.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a parking officer you will actively undertake the business functions associated with parking enforcement activities, record keeping, preparation of evidence, representing Council at legal proceedings and liaising with the community, team members and Council staff.
DUTIES.
- Enforce parking provisions within the Local Government Area
- Ensure vehicular turnover of parking spaces
- Provide excellent customer service to the public
- Report other non-related parking matters to Council
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- A Class C Driver's Licence is required
- Strong customer service experience
- Ability to learn and apply legislation as required
- Ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated

In this role, you will be working on a rotating roster (Monday - Saturday) with hours between 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.
